Dazza has been immersed in music for a long time. He took a break while raising his children but was raised on Motown and soul music. He got into rap at a young age and evolved with it into rave music. In the early days, he was raving in the '90s and fell in love with drum and bass, a passion that has stayed with him ever since. Although he enjoys the gritty, heavy basslines of the dirtier side of DnB, he can play other genres, but drum and bass is in his blood now.
