DJ Goose
I have always been around music since I was young. My mum was always listening to a variety of genres, which allowed me to appreciate different sounds and styles. My dad was a DJ who played music at discos, parties, and street events in our neighbourhood. I would go along, helping him set up the sound equipment. I was 12 when I got my first pair of belt-drive Numark turntables, I enjoyed mixing dark UK Garage and Grime, my mates would come over and they would MC on the mic while I spun tracks, and soon it became our regular thing. As teens, we linked up with other DJs and MCs, doing sets and collabs around Bedford. Life circumstances kept me busy, and I was unable to mix as often as I would have liked, but my passion for mixing and music was always with me. A few years ago, I started re-investing my time into music and upgrading my equipment. I have done a few shows on In2beats, with my first being back in 2015, it feels good to be back involved with the In2beats family, I look forward to mixing again in my hometown, and playing tunes for the listeners to enjoy

I might not have professional radio DJ experience yet , but once I’m shown the ropes, I’ll fly. I’m a fast learner, and with my background in Applied Behaviour Analysis & Positive Behaviour Support, I’ve built top-tier communication, people skills, and the confidence to lead rooms, workshops and airwaves. I’m a natural speaker with a distinct ear for music. My playlists slap, my predictions are on point (I always know who’s about to blow), and artists regularly hit me up for feedback on riddims, lyrics, and beats. I’ve grown up around sound system culture and the raw talent of the underground music scene. I live for the independent artists, those undiscovered gems who need airplay and love. If it’s musical, lyrical, emits bass or makes your shoulders move, I’m on it. Music is more than my passion, it’s my essence. From when I wake up to going to sleep, I live and breathe it.
